Asbestos Safety & Eradication Summit
- Monday 27 November 2017
Gala Dinner, 7pm, Old Parliament House
National Asbestos Awareness Week is once again this November and as a part of the events around the country, the Agency is holding the Asbestos Safety and Eradication Summit. Following the success of last year's conference in Adelaide, the 2017 Summit will be held at the Old Parliament House in Canberra.
This year's summit will be different from our previous international conferences, with a major focus on debate for Australia's next National Strategic Plan. The summit will bring together well renowned local and international experts in asbestos management, health, advocacy and governance to look at what is best practice in managing the dangers of asbestos in our community and abroad.
