How has ‘Mr Fluffy’ loose fill asbestos insulation impacted the ACT community?
The ACT Government has partnered with the Australian National University to fund a scholarship and research award that will deliver important research into this very question.
The PhD scholarship and research award are open to all disciplines and provides opportunities for successful applicants to provide important insights into the community effects of Mr Fluffy insulation in their chosen field of research.
There are many aspects of the community experience of Mr Fluffy and the responses of government to investigate, such as mental health effects, historical accounts, social or policy responses, or science and technology to name a few.
Applications for the scholarship and the research award are open to candidates and will close on 30 September 2021.
