Phase 2 - National Asbestos Awareness Campaign

Phase two of the National Asbestos Awareness Campaign ran from 17 March – 14 April to coincide with the lead up to and during the Easter holidays, which is a known period of increased DIY/home improvement activity. 

Thank you to those who partnered with us to promote the campaign materials on your channels and with your networks. 

We will now evaluate the effectiveness of the 2023-2024 National Asbestos Awareness Campaign, including through a survey to assess message recall. The results of this evaluation will inform the development of the 2024-2025 campaign and will be shared with stakeholders once finalised. 

Although our 2023-2024 national advertising campaign may be over, you can continue to use the Think Twice about Asbestos materials and adapt them to suit your social media schedules all year round. Let’s continue to work together to reach even more Australians so we can prevent them from being exposed to dangerous asbestos fibres.
