National General Assembly Conference 2023

ASEA also recently participated in the 2023 National General Assembly (NGA) of Local Government held by the Australian Local Government Association from 13 – 16 June. 

Our exhibition booth saw a hive of activity engaging with local government stakeholders, who are often at the front line when it comes to dealing with asbestos issues.

Throughout the week, we heard about the asbestos challenges facing local councils, especially problems associated with illegal dumping, and discussed how their practical guidance materials can help.

This was a great opportunity to speak directly with local government representatives from all around Australia and continue their work together to prevent asbestos exposure in the community.
