National Asbestos Awareness Week 2023 wrap-up
Thank you for partnering with us to make National Asbestos Awareness Week (NAAW) 2023 a great success.
We saw high levels of engagement from a range of stakeholders sharing the campaign materials across various media outlets including social and print media, radio and websites. Together we achieved impressive results:
- The campaign’s Think Twice About Asbestos message was displayed 31,146,183 times across social media, video, digital display and through search via our paid advertising
- 169 media placements across radio, newspaper and online news
- We had 261 downloads of our stakeholder pack and 7,611 new visitors to the website during NAAW
What’s next?
As this year also marks 20 years since asbestos was completely banned in Australia, there is still an opportunity to continue to use the 20 year ban assets on your communications. These assets include signature banners, header banners and badges for your communications materials.
ASEA will also be running phase two of the National Asbestos Awareness Campaign in March – April 2024 to coincide with the Easter holidays, a known period of increased DIY/home improvement activity. We encourage you to lookout for more information on this and the materials in the new year.
