Asbestos 2023

We were pleased to participate as a Platinum Partner in the FAMANZ 2023 Asbestos Conference “Collaboration is key” held in Auckland from 21-22 March. 

The common theme at the event and in each of the sessions was the importance of collaboration in the asbestos industry, and that together, we can make positive changes to prevent asbestos exposure.  

The event brought together delegates from across government and industry organisations, and an international speaker line-up with speakers from UK, Italy, America, Australia and New Zealand, offering different perspectives and learnings. 

Our CEO, Justine Ross provided a keynote presentation on ASEA’s role in coordinating the Asbestos National Strategic Plan and on day two, Director, Julia Collins presented on achieving consistency in asbestos identification and assessment, which generated a high level of interest and discussion with delegates.  

We also had an exhibition booth at the event, which provided a space to network and reconnect with stakeholders.
