2022 National Asbestos Awareness Survey – Final report and jurisdictional factsheets

The 2022 National Asbestos Awareness Survey was conducted earlier this year to provide robust measurements at national and state levels on progress towards target one of the Asbestos National Strategic Plan.

The cohorts sampled were homeowners and occupiers, workers in buildings with ACMs and tradespersons whose work brings them into contact with ACMs.

We have also produced jurisdictional specific factsheets which are now available on the Asbestos National Strategic Plan – Implementation Hub. These factsheets highlight the key results for each state or territory and progress made against target one.
