Current campaign

The current National Asbestos Awareness Campaign will cover the annual National Asbestos Awareness Week 2025, and an additional burst in March/April 202 to coincide with increased DIY and renovation activity around the Easter period. 

The National Asbestos Awareness Campaign (NAAC) 2025–26 targets Australians aged 18-55, with a focus on DIY/renovators and tradespersons. 

The campaign strategy is video-led and includes static social media, paid search, translated digital display advertising and full-page advertisements in Bunnings magazine. 

You can support the campaign and amplify asbestos safety messaging using the Stakeholder Pack available for download below. The pack includes social media tiles and messaging, animations, a media release and signature blocks branded for National Asbestos Awareness Week 2025.
