National Asbestos Awareness Week runs from 24 –30 November 2025 (NAAW 2025) and reminds Australians that Asbestos can kill. NAAW urges all Australians to beware of ageing and deteriorating asbestos, particularly as the summer season approaches, and home renovation projects kick off.
The stakeholder materials aim to encourage homeowners to respect the risks, know the facts and seek expert guidance before tackling a project in the home that may contain asbestos.
