Our research is focussed on improving asbestos awareness, identification, management, removal and disposal, with the goal of eliminating asbestos-related diseases. We co-ordinate with states and territories to support the Asbestos National Strategic Plan.
Consultation
ASSEA holds public consultations on asbestos issues that involve a wide range of stakeholders, and we encourage anyone with an interest to participate in open consultations.
National Asbestos Awareness Campaigns (NAAC)
A key function of ASSEA involves raising awareness of asbestos, asbestos safety, and asbestos-related diseases across Australia.
