This year’s conference will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC), in the heart of Perth's CBD. The summer garden social event will also be hosted at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, in the beautiful summer gardens.

Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre

The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is a modern and impressive event space and is Western Australia’s only dedicated and purpose-built convention, exhibition, and meeting venue. Overlooking the picturesque Swan River and Perth city skyline, and featuring state-of-the-art conference facilities, it is an ideal venue in which to host the 2019 Asbestos Safety Conference.

Uniquely positioned adjacent to the Elizabeth Quay waterfront and the Swan River, Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is located in the heart of Perth's CBD, with ample transport, accommodation, retail and nightlife options on its doorstep.

The main drop off and pick up location is via the Plaza entry adjacent to the Adina Apartment Hotel Perth and provides direct access to Level 1. Level 1 consists of the exhibition halls, the Vocus Boardrooms, and speaker preparation rooms.

The main pedestrian entrance is a short walk from St Georges Terrace or the bus port via Mill St, the connecting walkways. Arriving on Level 2, provides access to the Riverside Theatre, 12 meeting rooms, @Liberty Café & Bar, Summer Garden, and a dedicated registration desk.

BelleVue Ballrooms and lounge is located on Level 3 overlooking the newly created Elizabeth Quay dining and entertainment precinct.

Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is easily accessible by foot, ride-share or public transport including bus, train or ferry from South Perth.

The venue is a six minute walk to the Elizabeth Quay train station and bus port or 12 minutes to the Perth Underground train station.

Perth also has a free bus service that operates around the CBD. These buses are called CATS (central area transport service) and service the free transit zone which is clearly marked around the city. To find out more about how the free CAT buses and view maps and time tables visit the Transperth website here.

There are numerous car parking options within a ten minute walk to the PCEC, the closest of which is the secure parking managed by the City of Perth which is available and conveniently located directly beneath PCEC, and is accessible via three lifts providing direct building access.

The car park operates 24 hours 7 days a week, offering a staffed Customer Service Centre and closed circuit television.
